I love a good life hack! My favourite hacks are easy to implement with the benefits either being saving time and or money.
This week I shared a memory that had popped up in my Facebook memories (I love those memories too) of a pool noodle race track we made a few years ago.
Blair loved this race track, and it provided hours of fun not just for his little micro machines but for marbles too. When I showed the boys this memory, they immediately asked to make one again.
If you want to make your own Pool Noodle race track here’s what you’ll need
one pool noodle, try and get one with a large hole in the centre.
Stanly knife *optional
First cut the pool noodle in half lengthways cutting in a straight line down each side, I find it easiest to use a stanly knife for this part.
Next lay the halves together and join with the toothpicks.
Then cut the ends of the toothpicks with scissors so they don’t stick out.
All you need to do now is customise your race track.
We’ve used cupcake toppers and skewers in the past to make flags and finish signs.
This time we got a little creative and used some washi tape and toothpicks to make our own flags.
